0.42″ 72×40 Monochrome OLED Display – LGO7240A-042

The Longtech LGO7240A-042 is a compact 0.42-inch 72×40 monochrome OLED display designed for wearable electronics, compact instruments and space-constrained embedded systems. The module measures only 12.0 × 11.0 × 1.28 mm, with an approximately 10.196 × 6.18 mm viewing area and a 9.196 × 5.18 mm active area. It uses 0.108 × 0.11 mm pixels with a 0.128 × 0.13 mm pixel pitch, providing a high-density white-on-black display for icons, status information and compact graphical interfaces.

The module uses an SSD1315 OLED controller and supports both I²C and 4-wire SPI interfaces. Interface mode is selected through the BS1 pin: a high level selects I²C, while a low level selects 4-wire SPI. The logic supply supports approximately 1.65 V to 3.5 V, making the module suitable for common low-voltage MCU platforms.

The standard version provides a white monochrome COG OLED display with a typical brightness of approximately 400 cd/m², a dark-room contrast ratio of 10000:1 and a viewing angle greater than 160°. The operating temperature range is -20°C to +70°C, with a storage temperature range of -30°C to +80°C.
