When powered up, the Longtech 8×1 character Liquid Crystal Display brings your data to life with dark pixels contrasted against a vibrant yellow/green background. This transflective LCD display is engineered to provide optimal visibility under a wide range of lighting conditions. In bright sunlight, the display uses its reflective layer to reflect ambient light back to the viewer, making the screen easy to see. In darker settings, the display’s backlight turns on to provide additional illumination. This ensures the display is always easy to read, regardless of the lighting conditions.
The wide operating temperature range from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius makes this LCD the perfect display for rough environments. The LCM0801A-FL-YBW-33V33 display provides an optimal view from the 6 o’clock direction and operates seamlessly at a 3.3V supply voltage. Compatible with Arduino and other development boards, this high-quality, single-line LCD is RoHS-compliant and has undergone rigorous quality tests to meet or exceed industry standards.
With a slim and compact design, this dot-matrix LCD can display a long string of characters with a scrolling feature that is not restricted to just eight characters. One of its distinguishing features is the built-in ST7066U controller making the operations smooth and efficient, which allows parallel communication with a 4-bit or 8-bit MPU interface.
