Our monochrome graphic LCD modules help equipment designers combine text, icons, menus and graphics within one display. We offer COB and COG designs with different pixel resolutions and mechanical layouts for industrial and embedded applications.

How Do I Choose a Graphic LCD Module?

Start with the content you need to display, then check the mechanical fit, electrical compatibility and operating conditions.

  1. Select a suitable resolution. Our range includes 64×64, 96×64, 122×32, 128×64, 128×128, 192×64, 240×64 and 240×128, alongside other formats. Choose a resolution that accommodates your text, icons and screen layout.
  2. Check the mechanical dimensions. Compare module size, viewing area and mounting details with your enclosure. Modules with the same resolution can have different physical dimensions.
  3. Confirm the interface and controller. Available interfaces include 6800 parallel, 8080 parallel, SPI and I²C, depending on the model. Check the controller, pinout and operating voltage against your hardware and software requirements.
  4. Review the viewing conditions. Consider ambient lighting, viewing position and operating temperature when discussing LCD mode, polarizer and backlight options.

Which Applications Use Graphic LCD Modules?

Graphic LCDs are suited to equipment that needs measurement data alongside icons, operating menus, diagrams or status indicators.

Typical applications include industrial controls, test and measurement instruments, monitoring equipment and embedded operator panels. A sample screen layout can help us assess the resolution and viewing area your application needs.

What Can Be Customized on a Graphic LCD Module?

We can assess changes to the display configuration, connection arrangement and mechanical design. Options depend on the selected module and may include LCD mode, polarizer, backlight color, viewing direction, connectors and pin assignments.

For a different resolution or controller, we first check whether another existing model meets your requirements. Further changes may require a custom design.

Share your mechanical drawing and a sample screen layout. For replacement projects, include the existing display’s datasheet so we can compare dimensions, pinout, operating voltage, interface and controller compatibility. Firmware changes may also be required.
